The City has been anxious to begin the comprehensive planning process for Uptown Westerville for many years, and is very excited to finally have it underway with the help of MKSK Studios, a planning consulting firm. MKSK demonstrated a unique understanding of Uptown Westerville’s needs, which was further strengthened by their community-minded approach. The City has also elected to draw upon the historic preservation services of Benjamin D. Rickey & Company, a firm that has provided preservation and architectural consulting services to the City and the Uptown Review Board for many years.

Incorporating community thoughts and ideas throughout the development of the Plan Uptown effort is essential to the adaptation and continued success of this project. In addition to a steering committee of Uptown Westerville representatives, the City would like to invite all those with a vested interest in Uptown to post their thoughts, comments, and opinions on this webpage.
